The history of the traditional Indian Pow-Wow continues to pass from the old generations to the new generations; it’s an event rich in traditional Indian culture and in Native Indian history. It’s a time when Indian people gather for summer celebrations of sacred traditions, culture, and friendly intertribal competitions. It is a warm welcomed opportunity to visit with friends, relatives, and to renew old acquaintances, but most importantly, it is a time to preserve culture and traditions, to sing to the Creator, and to dance to the heartbeat of the drum.
